Brand Identity
About This Project

Pacific Station is a real estate development in Nanaimo, BC. Nanaimo is undergoing significant growth, like most of BC’s cities. The coastal location makes it immediately desirable. Its natural setting and potential for recreation are indeed a huge part of the appeal, but Nanaimo’s urban character is, for many, another part of its charm.

Pacific Station is presented with the challenge of housing newly arrived entrepreneurs, the work force, university students, and families.

I first started by designing a visual identity for Pacific Station (the overarching brand), but soon after the client switched gears and decided only Hub at Pacific Station needed to be branded. I jumped on the opportunity and created multiple options. The one presented here was my final option, and close to being approved. The client, though happy with the direction, wanted a lowercase version of the wordmark. The brand has since been worked on by a fellow designer as you will see in the website design I created.

You can visit the live website I designed here.
